University of Ghana Chapter , Legon

The SWA University of Ghana, Legon Chapter officially launched on February 26, 2005, at the Statistics Department of the University of Ghana, Legon.

Bossman Boakye, Regional Representative for SWA Ghana, formally introduce the Student World Assembly to students. He gave a brief overview of the concept of SWA, including the benefits of membership and expectations of members. He also commended executives for their efforts. Mr. Boakye then delivered a goodwill message from Mr. Paul Raynault, the founder of SWA, which spoke on the progress of SWA and thanked all of the students for their efforts in establishing a chapter at the University of Ghana.

Chapter executives were formally recognized, and gave their thanks to chapter members for their votes of confidence. Mr. Felix Okoe Mettle, faculty advisor for the chapter, congratulated the executives for their hard work in making the inauguration possible.
