SWA Presentation at Columbia University - New York

NEW YORK CITY - Students in the Human Rights Program at Columbia University gathered together on March 1st, 2005, to learn more about the Student World Assembly. SWA International staff members presented its mission, the democratic process on which it is based, and the recent and upcoming chapter events. The attending students showed an enthusiastic interest in establishing a new chapter at Columbia.

The Human Rights Program is one of the nine functional concentrations in the Masters of International Affairs (MIA) degree at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). The concentration offers a range of interdisciplinary approaches to human rights which build on the MIA core curriculum in international politics, economics and statistics.
