The SWA-Harvard (Gh) chapter boasts of 45 establishing members. Contance Kwami Adusu took on one of the leading roles in establishing this chapter, along with Kwame Frempong, another active member for SWA-Ghana.

Two guest speakers were invited to the event. Bright Essilfie Kumi spoke on the issue of financial wealth and the necessity of a commitment to financial success in order to bring the African population out of poverty. Sammy Jacobs Abbey gave a speech entitled “Youth Sexuality and HIV/AIDS: Implications for Africa’s Development,” another issue greatly affecting the continent.
